Health care: Opening our doors, opening minds

On Thursday May 21st, Think Research opened its doors to over 300 members of the health care community in celebration of our new office space and the growth of our teams.

From government officials, to industry leaders, to clinicians from our partner hospitals, all corners of the Ontario health care community came to see Think Research in action and learn more about how we’re rethinking the future of health care.

The highlight of the evening was our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Adalsteinn (Steinni) Brown, who led a thought-provoking discussion around driving impact through innovation in Ontario’s health system.  Dr. Brown’s speech focused on ways we can improve our health care system at provincial and federal levels.

His answer to realizing the Triple Aim of health care – improving the health of our population, the cost and the overall care experience – is through ensuring that innovation is supported through to impact.  Brown said this goal can be achieved as long as we don’t stop just stop at innovation, but rather, support innovative products from conception to reality.

Sachin Aggarwal, CEO of Think Research, also shared a few words with the room about our initiatives and how we hope to create enough impact to have a hand in improving our health care system.

“When one of us wins, we all win,” Aggarwal said.  It was a statement that resonated throughout the evening and something we carry with us into the future.

Even with a larger office space, it was still a packed house.  We couldn’t be more thrilled with the overwhelming interest in our organization and we look forward to connecting with everyone again in the future. We’d like to thank everyone for attending and making this such a special night for our team.
