The 2011/2012 EHR Modular* ONC-ATCB Certification attests that the software is capable of supporting health care providers with Stage 1 Meaningful Use requirements to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology has designated ICSA Labs, a division of Verizon, as an Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ATCB) for Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems that are used to securely share patient information electronically between physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers.

As an ONC-ATCB authorized lab, ICSA Labs is responsible for testing and certifying EHR products and solutions to ensure that they meet the rigorous standards for ‘Meaningful Use’ the U.S. government mandates for this class of products.
