January 21, 2016 – Think Research is proud to partner with health systems and organizations that are committed to delivering higher quality patient care by using evidence-based best practices.

The North East Local Health Integration Network (NE LHIN) is a perfect example of such an organization; one that has determined to use the latest technology to ensure their patients receive the quality of care they deserve. As of December 2015, physicians in 16 out of 25 NE LHIN hospitals have implemented and started using electronic Patient Order Sets. Another 8 hospitals within the LHIN are currently in the process of implementing the digital solution over the next several months.

The latest NE LHIN hospital to transition from paper to electronic Patient Order Sets is Mattawa Hospital. According to Tanya Bélanger, VP Clinical Services/Chief Nursing Officer, “Patient order set technology is allowing us to improve patient safety and outcomes, incorporate best practices and better standardize our workflows”. Serving as an electronic Patient Order Sets implementation Project Manager, Bélanger was instrumental in executing a seamless adoption of the solution at Mattawa Hospital.

We look forward to continually working with the NE LHIN to serve patients with the best care possible through technology clinicians love.
