Adopting this technology will enable OSRP members to rapidly offer virtual mental health consultations to their clients while minimizing mutual exposure to COVID-19.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe impact and risk of COVID-19 is serious and the need to continue physical distancing is very real. Equally important is the impact on mental health, which means we need to ensure supports remain available for people,\u201d says Ted Leckie, Registered Psychotherapist and president of the OSRP. \u201cWe know that heightened anxiety (as a result of isolation) means many people will need access to mental healthcare now more than ever. Virtual therapy sessions allow that access to happen safely.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OSRP represents 300 + registered psychotherapists who provide mental health supports to a variety of populations across Ontario.
