Created through the acquisition of MDBriefCase, vaccine learning hub represents additional integrated offering for Think software users and new clinician clients

Toronto, March 16, 2021 — Think Research Corporation (TSXV: THNK) or (the “Company” or “Think“), a company focused on transforming healthcare through integrated digital health software solutions, announced today the launch of an educational hub for clinicians to support family physicians and other clinicians as the front line in promoting global vaccine confidence and responding to hesitancy during the COVID-19 pandemic — an ongoing area of importance as vaccine efforts continue.

The learning hub, hosted by MDBriefCase, a leading provider of continuing medical education and a recent addition to the Think family, includes a free educational video series called “COVID Straight Talks” with internationally recognized clinicians, Dr. David Strain (UK), Dr. Peter Lin (Canada) and pharmacist Michael Boivin (Canada). Topics addressed within the series include vaccine dosing, asymptomatic spread and socializing post-vaccination.

The educational hub also includes an accredited Vaccine Hesitancy program designed for primary care physicians and other supporting clinicians to help improve vaccine confidence in patients. Combined, Think and MDBriefCase reach a network of nearly 300,000 global healthcare professionals in Canada, Europe, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.

Think CEO Sachin Aggarwal said “This learning hub is an example of how we can jointly leverage our clinical knowledge software solutions to deliver critical evidence-based support to front-line clinicians. Empowering healthcare providers with the tools they need to best do their job is something that improves health outcomes for everyone.”

Managing Director at Think and former MDBriefCase CEO Jason Flowerday said “It’s not enough for physicians and healthcare experts to know vaccines are safe; as we wrote in The Globe and Mail, that message needs to be effectively communicated to patients. That’s why we work with physicians and other healthcare providers to make sure that vaccine hesitancy is addressed head-on.”

MDBriefCase currently offers more than 1,500 accredited course modules on topics ranging from oncology to diabetes, collectively offering more than 2 million hours of continuing medical education. All programs are developed by leading specialists and peer-reviewed by experts at respected institutions to meet the mandatory continuing education requirements.

MDBriefCase was acquired by Think in January, 2021 representing a meaningful and immediate contributor of revenue and accretive profit. As at December 31, 2020, MDBriefCase is expected to have generated trailing twelve-month revenues of approximately $10.3 million (unaudited) and EBITDA of approximately $0.3 million (unaudited).
