Think’s leading software solution allows healthcare providers to document patient information digitally, a crucial component of delivering cohesive care to patients without medical records

TORONTO, ON, August 25, 2021 – Think Research Corporation (TSXV: THNK) (“Think” or the “Company“), a company focused on transforming healthcare through digital health software solutions, is pleased to announce today it has formalized its partnership with the IMAGINE Clinic, a student-run healthcare centre affiliated with the University of Toronto (U of T). IMAGINE cares for underserved communities including those without OHIP, people experiencing homelessness and refugees.

Think’s leading electronic data capture software is being used by IMAGINE staff — which include medical, pharmacy, other health studies students and U of T preceptors — to digitally document patient information, removing the need for the cumbersome process of paper-based charting. Digital patient notes are incredibly important as many IMAGINE patients do not have comprehensive medical history records or a family physician, which can affect the quality of care they receive.

Think’s enterprise software allows healthcare providers to store medical data securely in one place that can be accessed by all team members, which in turn improves the continuum of care for patients. The formalized partnership between Think and IMAGINE comes after a successful pilot project launched during the pandemic.

Think CEO Sachin Aggarwal said “Using technology to improve access to quality care and better patient outcomes is our Company’s core mission, and this partnership is an example of that in action. We are proud to continue our work with IMAGINE, an incredibly important community-facing clinic in Toronto, to support their crucial work serving marginalized communities.”

IMAGINE Clinic Executive Co-Directors Kelsey Yang and Matthew Hacker Teper said “Think’s electronic data capture software acts as our custom-built electronic medical record (EMR) solution, which allowed our clinic to re-open during the pandemic and to continue providing care to underserved communities in Toronto.

“While our partnership was born out of the pandemic, we are excited to continue working with Think as its software has become an indispensable part of our clinic flow. We are delighted that our student volunteers — the next-generation of healthcare professionals — are learning to use these new digital tools as they provide patients with timely, organized, and comprehensive care.”
